Mrs. Sheppard's Computer Literacy Lab

About Me and My Class

My name is Mrs. Sheppard and I am the Computer Literacy teacher! I worked in the district's technology department for almost 3 years before moving to the middle school; this is my first year in the computer lab. I hope to spark an interest and curiosity in the students of Mountain Grove Middle School to explore the world of computer science!

While in my class, students will do lessons and activities related to the following topics:

• Computing Systems

• Networks & the Internet

• Data & Analysis

• Algorithms & Programming

• Impacts of Computing

Computer Science begins with a mindset. My class focuses more on that from the beginning, training students to think in that mindset before they begin working within it.
